We have a team of talented and friendly staff who run the Pre-School sessions. Each of our staff strives to create a familiar and caring environment so that your child feels safe and happy. Their aim is to inspire your child to learn through play - they're an enthusiastic bunch who love to get stuck in and have fun.
Hi, I’m Charlotte the Manager. I’ve really enjoyed my first year at pre-school. Previous to starting here I have been working in a pre-school setting for the last 6 years and have a level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce. I have received training in speech and language and Makaton. I am also our Designated safeguarding Lead. I really enjoy being creative and using my imagination. I am a Mum of 2 daughters and enjoy spending time outside either walking my dog ‘Florence’ or riding horses.
Hi, I’m Deborah. I am a Mum of 2 boys who love getting out on their bikes at the weekends so we are always busy. I started working at pre-school in 2014. I have a level 2 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce. I have a quiet nurturing approach to childcare and enjoy building relationships with my key children. I have an interest in gardening and love to share this with the children. This year we have grown potatoes and carrots during the summer and have planters ready for some winter herbs.
Hi, I’m Lydia. Both my daughters came to Chieveley pre-school and I enjoyed parent help so much I became bank staff. In September 2018 I became part of the staff team and thoroughly enjoying working in early years. I have a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce that I gained working at Mary Hare School for the Deaf where I have been care staff for 5 years. Through pre-school I have realised that Early Years is my passion, so much so that I have just embarked on a Foundation Degree in Child Development 0-11 years.
Hi, I’m Louise. I am a military wife and mum to a little boy who started at Chieveley Pre-School just before the summer. I initially took an interest in working as bank staff before becoming part of the team in November 2019. My journey in to childcare began as an au pair to 3 military children in Germany, this encouraged me to undertake and complete a level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce. Prior to having my son, I worked in a pre-school setting in my hometown of Stafford. In my spare time I enjoy days out with my family, woodland walks and cuddles with my cat Ziggy.
Hi, I’m Maria and I live in Chieveley with my son and daughter. I started as bank staff at Chieveley Pre-School in September 2019 and I now work as a 1:1 Pre-School Support Assistant two days per week.
